Several have noised around the importance of “social networking.” I listened, heard the scoop and decided to take the plunge. Granddaughter Savannah schooled Grandma. Before hand her mother said, “Now Sanny, just because you can skip around in there, remember…” She didn’t say, “Grams is old,” but I’m thinking my brain waves would have a hard time keeping up with my teenage granddaughter.
Savannah proved a good teacher. I’m set up on Facebook and my space. Do I use them? Not often. Don’t have time.
The fun part about Facebook is
the little sentences that pop into my in box every so often. “Someone has written on your wall.” Of course, I’m invited to return the wall writing and do so. Such fun.
Unfortunately, Savannah isn’t able to write on any walls at the moment, her PC needs help. Still I’ve heard from Olivia and Alex more in the last two weeks than I did in two years. I’m thinking I’ll need to encourage Aunt Karen and Aunt Karla to write on a wall. Something we were never ever allowed to do when we were kids.
I’m thinking this social networking isn’t all bad. By spring I plan to be a twitter bug. See you round, Kat
